JD Mowlds joined our Bend office at the start of 2005 after 25
successful years in the golf and hospitality industry in
Central Oregon. His expertise in that industry, combined with
his skills as a commercial broker, makes him an invaluable part
of the Hotel and Golf Properties Group at Compass.
In the past three years JD has successfully closed sales
transactions totaling over $40 million. In 2008 he became a
partner with Compass and represents both buyers and sellers of
commercial properties. Additionally, he represents landlords
and tenants in lease negotiations. His professionalism, skills
in client service, business management and marketing compliment
the Compass team.
He is a graduate of the University of Portland with a degree in
Business Administration. JD is still active in golf and he and
his wife Jill, play when time permits while raising their
combined five children (two have graduated from college). He is
an active member of the Rotary Club of Bend and serves on
various community non-profit boards.
