Carla joined Compass Commercial in 2004 and established the procedures and staffing for our Broker Services Department. She is responsible for managing the creative and administrative process that supports 21 Compass brokers at the Central Oregon headquarters. In particular she oversees marketing programs including social media initiatives, press, print media, web and blog sites, new business projects, and special presentations.

Before moving to Sunriver in 2000, Carla was a Seattleite. She worked for Adobe Systems (previously Aldus),  Seattle Weekly, and Christiansen & Fritsch (a direct marketing advertising agency).

She hails from Madison Wisconsin where she graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a secondary education and communication arts degree. When she's not making the business case for Twitter and FaceBook she tries to keep pace with her friends skiing, biking, and kayaking. She also volunteers for Friends With Flowers, a local non-profit that repurposes beautiful flowers for Central Oregon Hospice patients.
