Bruce is a 30-year resident of Central Oregon and has been a broker and partner at Compass for a decade. He was the Compass Broker of the Year in 2006 and repeated as Top Producer in 2008. His Real Estate career started in 1978. He served as Vice President of Land Developer Services, LTD, a company focused on the development of residential subdivisions. Intervening years were spent in ownership of three businesses. The most recent was a distribution company that peaked at 7 million in sales and was sold to a competitor.

Bruce, a Principal Real Estate Broker, is Partner at the firm and has served as its President for three years. He also holds a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Manager) designation. Only 6 percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation. It is one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry. The CCIM membership network mirrors the increasingly changing nature of the industry and includes brokers, leasing professionals, investment counselors, asset managers, appraisers, corporate real estate executives, property managers, developers, institutional investors, commercial lenders, attorneys, bankers and other allied professionals. Through this business network, CCIM members successfully complete thousands of transactions annually, representing more than $200 billion in value.

He is active in investment sales, land acquisition, build-to-suits, business acquisitions, and leasing. He is the current real estate agent of record for both the City of Bend and the City of Redmond. He was on the CID board for seven years and was also a past president of CID (the commercial investment division of the Central Oregon Association of Realtors).

He even made time to complete his third Cycle Oregon trip this summer (where he pedaled for a week and almost 500 miles through southern Oregon). His long time affection for mountain hiking has led him to the summit of five of the eight Cascade Mountain peaks. His travels often take him to visit his children and a growing number of grandchildren.
