Marlo Wilson joined the company in September of 2009 and comes to Compass Commercial with 12 years of experience in portfolio real estate and finance.
Beginning her real estate career as a tenant representative for an international real estate brokerage in Los Angeles, she became a portfolio manager for Progressive Insurance, handling just under one million square feet of office, industrial and retail properties in the Western half of the United States. In her 5 years with Progressive she handled all components of the real estate portfolio, from strategic market analysis to construction oversight of tenant improvements.
Marlo continued to fine tune her finance skills in portfolio asset management by joining Morgan Stanley. She returned to real estate by joining Orvis/Cushman & Wakefield where she took the lead in expanding their ranch and recreation real estate holdings into the Pacific Northwest. Marlo brings this wide range of real estate and portfolio finance skills to Compass where she continues to represent buyers and sellers in their real estate and investment endeavors.
Ms. Wilson is currently a CCIM candidate, a member of COAR, and is involved in the community by being a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for children in the local foster care system. Additionally she volunteers time for the Bethlehem Inn.
Marlo has a JD from Pepperdine University and a BS from Washington State University. She and her two sons have lived in Bend for seven years where they enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle that includes skiing, hiking, camping, boating and tennis.
