Ron began his real estate career in Portland, Oregon in 1978 after attending law school at the University of Idaho. He has practiced continuously since then moving to Bend in 1981. He has been involved in property management, has owned and managed real estate offices, and has consistently been a top producing Broker. He was a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame prior to transferring to Compass Commercial in 2008.

Ron specializes in investment grade properties including retail, office, industrial, multifamily, and land. He can evaluate your current real estate portfolio and suggest ways to further your investment objective more efficiently. He has extensive experience in 1031 exchange transactions. He can find investment properties for buyers locally,regionally, and nationally. Ron offers creative solutions for tough times and tough markets.

There are few commercial real estate brokers today with the experience, longevity, and passion for the business that Ron brings on behalf of his clients. He holds the coveted CCIM designation, commonly referred to as the PHD of commercial real estate. Clients appreciate his no-nonsense, bottom line approach. He focuses on offering grounded and realistic assessments of the market, the property, opportunities, and solutions with comprehensive advice for sound decision making.

Ron originally hails from a cattle ranch in northeast Wyoming, and is a Pre-Law Graduate of South Dakota State University. When not in the office Ron enjoys golf and traveling with his wife Joan. He also tries to keep up with his two sons, both attending the University of Oregon. He believes in giving back to his community and industry so past activities and associations include:

• And many years coaching youth basketball and baseball
