Scott joined Compass in the Fall of 2009, growing our Redmond office. He brings a strong background in real estate financing, resort real estate sales and management, business formation and management, budgeting, team building and training, State and Federal compliance, and product marketing.
Pennington brings seven years of experience in mortgage lending with Trust Lending and then Western Pacific Mortgage in Bend. His work as a Senior Loan Consultant and Originator involved every facet of business development, budgeting, loan origination and marketing. He has certificates that reflect hundreds of hours involved in all facets of mortgage industry training.
In the five years prior to that Scott managed and trained professional sales people and implemented systems for Running Y Ranch in Klamath Falls. Scott has also been a sales representative at Eagle Crest in Redmond. Early in his career Scott built a successful retail audio/video business from the ground up.
Scott will be using his experienced background to help buyers and sellers of commercial properties, as well as representing both landlords and tenants in lease negotiations. In particular he will be calling on his skills for market identification, compliance, and exceptional expectations for customer service. He is also a CCIM candidate.
Scott is a graduate of Linfield College with a bachelor of arts degree and attended Oregon State University for post graduate work. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, fishing, downhill skiing, and spending time with his family.
