Krista joined the Property Management division of Compass Commercial in June 2010 as part of our merger with Equity Growth Management. She has lived in Bend and worked in the real estate industry since 2005, primarily in property and asset management. During her time with Equity Growth Management, Krista gained extensive experience managing retail shopping centers, office buildings and industrial complexes, and in association management. 

Krista is currently working towards her Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation and is member if the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

Krista was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, where she graduated from Sunset High School. She then attended Indiana University as a student athlete. During college, Krista competed in Division One women’s water polo, leading her team to a first-place finish at the Eastern Conference Championships and a fourth-place finish at nationals. Krista graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in economics and political science with a certificate in business management.

After living in the Midwest for four years, Krista decided to move back to the Pacific Northwest. Bend proved the perfect fit for her active lifestyle. Krista and her husband, Jake, spend their free time in the outdoors and traveling with their Sportsmobile. The couple also enjoys backpacking, rafting, snow skiing, hiking, biking, running, and swimming.
