Professional experience: Howard joined Compass Commercial in April of 1998 after 25 years in the restaurant industry and became a partner in 2005. He uses his business background and knowledge of the region to assist clients in leasing and sales of retail, commercial and industrial properties, including land sales, investment properties and owner/user opportunities. Since joining Compass Commercial, Howard has sold and leased over $123,000,000 worth of properties.


Professional affiliations:

Howard earned the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation in 2002, which is only granted to 5% of commercial brokers nationwide. He is a member of the Bend Chamber of Commerce, the Oregon and National Association of Realtors (OAR and NAR), and the Commercial Investment Division (CID) of the Central Oregon Association of Realtors.

Interests:

Howard has lived in Bend for more than 32 years. He and his wife, Nancy, raised their three children (who are all college grads) in Bend.  He enjoys snowboarding, fly fishing, traveling, cooking and rehydrating on the Oregon coast.
