Tom brings a wealth of project management and construction experience to Compass Commercial’s Construction Services team. As a project superintendent, Tom utilizes his hands-on construction based knowledge and management experience to ensure the successful outcome of each client’s project. His background includes 30 years of experience in project management, supervision and quality control positions throughout a range of project types including hotels, schools, government buildings, churches, high-tech office buildings, and water and sewer treatment facilities.
Background & Experience
Most recently, Tom was project superintendent for SunWest Builders in Redmond Oregon, before becoming vice president and project manager at Desert Star, LLC. His recent projects include The Brick House restaurant remodel in downtown Bend, projects for the National Forest Service, Oregon Department of Transportation and LDS Church. Before moving to Bend in 2011, Tom served as superintendent and quality control manager for Jacobsen Construction completing projects throughout the U.S.
Community Involvement & Interests
In his spare time, Tom enjoys making barn wood furniture, restoring a ’71 Bronco and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes crush the Oregon Ducks!
