Adam McKenzie

Adam serves as the Senior Estimator/Director of Pre-Construction at Compass Commercial Construction, where he plays a crucial role at the beginning of each project. He prepares detailed estimates for lease agreements and manages the bidding process for outside clients. Adam oversees all front-end work with architects and owners while fostering strong relationships with subcontractors. With a focus on value engineering, he meticulously examines building plans to identify the most efficient methods for project execution. He regularly meets with architects and subcontractors and handles most negotiations, ensuring that each project runs smoothly from inception to completion.

Before joining Compass, Adam was the Chief Estimator for a luxury home builder in Las Vegas, where he managed projects ranging from $5 million to $30 million over a span of six years. Prior to that, he worked as a Construction Manager for a consulting firm in Los Angeles for and gained valuable experience as a Superintendent. Growing up in the construction industry, Adam was influenced by his grandfather, a contractor, and began his career as a carpenter working alongside his dad. This deep-rooted experience has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the construction process and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
