Overview

As a principal broker at Compass Commercial, Joel specializes in the leasing and sales of retail, office, and industrial properties. His expertise in client services and real estate allows Joel to help his clients expertly navigate the commercial real estate leasing, and sales negotiation process with care. Navigating that process can be daunting, and Joel helps take the guesswork out of the process. Joel also serves as an advisor for his clients on their existing real estate investments.

Background & Experience

Joel joined Compass Commercial in 2013, after spending the better part of two years running a statewide political campaign for Dr. Knute Buehler’s 2012 run for Oregon Secretary of State. Having grown up in Central Oregon, Joel has a great deal of insight into the growth and development of the community. With a background in finance, business development and political strategy, Joel has a wide range of experience that sets him apart and positions him well to assist individual clients and businesses in selecting the best investments to strategically fit their long-term financial goals.

Community Involvement

Joel is a loyal member of Rotary International and the Rotary Club of Greater Bend. As a Rotarian, Joel has donated his time and skills to a number of club initiatives, including chairing one of the club’s staple events, Pints for Polio. Joel also volunteers with local ballot initiative efforts and the United Way of Deschutes County.
