As the founder of Compass Commercial Construction in 2009, Steve established the division as a trusted name in Central Oregon’s commercial construction industry. Now serving as an Executive Advisor, Steve leverages his decades of experience to strengthen client relationships and provide expertise in bid oversight and consulting. His continued involvement ensures Compass Commercial Construction remains rooted in its founding values while pursuing new opportunities.

Steve began his career in construction with his family’s building business before founding Spectrum Contracting in Southern California, where he managed large-scale industrial and office projects. After relocating to Bend, he launched Compass Commercial Construction in 2009, expanding the company’s services and integrating construction seamlessly with brokerage and property management. Today, Steve continues to advise on feasibility, bid evaluation, and client consultation.

Under his leadership, Compass Commercial Construction grew its reputation for quality, collaboration, and client-focused service. Today, even in semi-retirement, Steve remains an integral part of the team — leveraging his expertise to support project feasibility reviews, bid evaluations, and client consultation.
