The Construction Services team started from scratch with the former Subway restaurant space at Westside Yard. The plumbing had to be relocated and redone, which entailed digging 5-feet underground to access. They completely removed and replaced the electrical system throughout the building and added an all-new HVAC system. The outdoor seating area has a 15-foot-long by 3-foot-tall fireplace with patio seating and gas heaters. Inside, patrons will find magnificent live edge Douglas fir bar tops and murals throughout the space.

Cheba Hut founder Scott Jennings said, “it was the nicest shop in the chain of over 40 locations.”

Cheba Hut has been escaping the established and getting “toasted” since 1998. Breaking the mold of mundane fast-casual concepts by becoming the first marijuana-themed sandwich “joint”, Cheba Hut is dedicated to providing customers with delicious and memorable sandwich and munchie options in a chill, eclectic environment where made-to-order food is served by genuine people. Cheba Hut’s fun and authentic dining experience includes a full-service bar and highlights its menu because it’s not about getting high, it’s about epic food and legendary service!
