Joe Sandahl, CPM, CCIM

Joseph Sandahl brings more than 25 years of comprehensive commercial real estate expertise to Compass Commercial, with a focus on capital markets, investment brokerage, and strategic financing. Throughout his career, Joe has cultivated deep relationships across institutional clients, pension funds, and high-net-worth investors, facilitating debt and equity placement, leasing, and acquisitions. Joe has been directly involved in over 100 transactions across retail centers, business parks, office buildings, and industrial properties throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Before joining Compass Commercial in 2025, Joseph served as the Senior Director of Capital Markets at NAI Elliott in Portland, OR, a role he held since 2011. There, he played a central role in the firm’s investment brokerage and financial structuring activities and led efforts in the creation of private equity real estate funds. His leadership contributed to the development and execution of numerous commercial projects throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Prior to his tenure at NAI Elliott, Joe held key executive positions at several Portland-based commercial real estate firms, overseeing the acquisition, management, and disposition of over 100 retail centers, business parks, office buildings, and industrial properties.
