Colorado Lift Station – Expect delays and plan for detour!

Starting March 14 and lasting up to three weeks, one lane of the Colorado Avenue bridge will close during daytime hours while crews finish work associated with a sewer line installation on the bridge.

One lane of the bridge will remain open with flaggers directing traffic, but significant delays are expected and drivers are advised to use alternate routes. See attached detour map.

The one lane will close from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Both lanes of traffic will be open overnight and over the weekends.

The lane closure accommodates final work on the sewer pipe that was recently attached to the bridge. The pipe across the Colorado Avenue bridge is part of a large sewer system project in progress. Bend’s sewer collection system is near capacity.
