Awarded sale of Sisters Forest Service land

Decision Announced on Sisters Ranger District Administrative Property

Compass Commercial is Announced as Real Estate Broker

Following a review of competitive real estate proposals, the Deschutes National Forest has chosen Compass Commercial Real Estate Services as the representing brokerage firm for the sale of approximately 66 acres of the Sisters Ranger District site in Sisters off Highway 20.

The acreage for sale is primarily in the southern portion of the Sisters Administrative site, south of West Barclay Drive. Of their original 79.78 acres, the Forest Service will retain approximately 13 acres on the northwest portion of the administrative site for a planned Ranger Station and other administrative buildings. The property for sale is currently partitioned into three parcels and is to be offered as one or more parcels. The highest and best use is generally considered to be a mix of commercial and residential.

Compass Commercial Real Estate Services sees the sale of this property as a unique opportunity for a developer to bridge the downtown Sisters retail corridor and the commercial area near the McDonald’s. Brokers Robert Raimondi, CCIM, and Graham Dent will represent the Forest Service sale.

“The property offers a developer more than 2,000 feet of highway frontage in the middle of town and the unique opportunity to create a more cohesive feel,” said Robert Raimondi. See the listing.
