(BEND, OR) – Bend River Promenade has signed a long-term lease with The Battery Source, Inc., a local franchisee for Batteries Plus. The tenant has leased approximately 2,400 square feet of retail space next door to Verizon along Business Highway 97.
Compass Commercial brokers, Russell Huntamer and Steve Toomey, CCIM represented Bend River Promenade in the lease. The Battery Source, Inc. was represented by Ron Ross, CCIM, also with Compass Commercial.
Batteries Plus was founded in 1988 in Green Bay, Wisconsin and began franchising in 1992. The stores offer a wide variety of batteries for two-way radios, aircraft, automobiles, camcorders, digital cameras, cellular phones, laptop computers, flashlights, golf carts, lawn & garden, marine, medical, motorcycles, mp3 players, , photo, rechargeable batteries, scanners, scooters, watches, cordless phones, cordless tools, trucks, snowmobiles, RVs, uninterruptible power systems and more.
The Battery Source, Inc. opened its first Batteries Plus store in Salem, Oregon in 1995 and has grown to operate ten stores throughout the state, with the addition of the Bend location.
