BEND, OR – Compass Commercial Real Estate Services announced that after two years of working exclusively with brokers, Darren Powderly, CCIM and Erich Schultz, SIOR, Jay Lyons, CCIM has transitioned to serve as an independent broker within the firm where he continues to assist his clients with their real estate needs throughout Central Oregon and beyond.

Lyons joined Compass Commercial in 2011 after five years in the commercial mortgage banking industry with NorthMarq Capital and Capmark Finance. His business background and knowledge provides clients with guidance on the acquisition, disposition and leasing of their commercial real estate assets throughout Central Oregon.
Lyons is a licensed broker in the states of Oregon and California and is a CCIM designee. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He holds a Master of Science degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver.
