Compass Commercial is pleased to announce Bruce Churchill, principal broker, has joined our firm.
Bruce has been involved in commercial real estate as a client, developer and broker for over 30 years. He has worked along the west coast from Alaska to California in commercial development, construction and real estate brokerage.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University in central Pennsylvania, then went on to acquire his Master of Business Administration with a focus on real estate development from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has used his understanding of business and development to gain over 50 successful land use approvals in Oregon, and develop 8 assisted living facilities in the Pacific Northwest. Bruce generated over $24 million in transactions within his first three years as a commercial broker in Bend.
Bruce’s specialties are in medical build-to-suit leasing, land sales and land use consulting. He enjoys working with his clients to meet their goals, especially when it comes to creatively structuring complex deals. He also enjoys data-driven analysis. Being active in the community comes naturally to Bruce. He’s currently involved in the City of Bend Budget Committee and the Bend Chamber, and is a former member of Friends of Bend and Bend Centennial Committee.
When Bruce isn’t working on a commercial real estate deal or in the community, he can be found spending time mountain biking, Nordic or alpine skiing, whitewater paddling or on the Oregon coast surfing. He has lived in Bend for 24 years and raised his two sons and recently married Kimberlee Lear, a life-long Bendite.
Bruce says, “Commercial real estate, development, and construction are in my blood, and my greatest satisfaction comes from being a trusted adviser to clients who range from the best developers in the community to individuals involved in their first transaction.”
