Compass Commercial’s Year of Growth and Recognition

Compass Commercial Real Estate Services has had a year of exceptional growth and recognition in the industry. We recently received the 2023 Bend Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award for Organizational Growth and the 2022 Realtor of the Year Award from the Central Oregon Builders Association (COBA). The company achieved new heights in 2022, surpassing previous records and setting the stage for continued success in the years to come.

“We are truly honored to receive these awards,” stated president and broker Graham Dent. “To have been recognized by our peers and the industry for the COBA Excellence Award three times, including in 2014 and 2018, is a true testament to the hard work and dedication of our Compass team.”

The Asset & Property Management division saw a change in 2022 with the appointment of Russ Monroe as the new VP of Property Management. The department was expertly restructured and strengthened with the addition of two talented Property Managers and five skilled Maintenance specialists. This strategic move elevated the level of service provided to clients and set the stage for continued success in the years ahead.

The Construction Services division experienced a significant surge in tenant improvement jobs year-over-year. In 2022, they made history by beginning work on their first ground-up commercial project in Sisters, and to keep up with the growing demand, they added a second Assistant Project Manager. They are already looking to expand the Construction Services division in 2023.

The real standout of the year was the Brokerage team, who broke records with their best year yet. Total consideration grew 14.3% between 2020 and 2021, and then grew another 9.2% between 2021 and 2022.

“A company is only as good as its people and we pride ourselves on making Compass Commercial a great place to work where our employees feel valued, supported and inspired to reach their full potential,” Dent stated. “As we continue to grow our team, our commitment to serving Central Oregon remains unwavering, and we look forward to playing an even greater role in shaping the future of this great community.”
