Compass Commercial Real Estate Services’ Marketing Specialist, Ruth Shilling was recently appointed to the board of directors for City Club of Central Oregon. She began working with the organization on the Program Committee shortly after moving to Bend in December 2015 and served as co-chair for approximately one and a half years.
Ruth states, “I enjoy working with City Club. It’s an organization driven by having conversations about relevant issues, and it has the power to bridge the gap into civic engagement. It’s been an incredible experience seeing volunteers develop forums, then see the conversation continue through action in the community.”
Ruth appreciates the core values of Compass Commercial Real Estate Services especially of being involved in civic leadership and contributions to the community. Many of the team members at Compass Commercial are involved in various nonprofits, volunteering time, donating funds and serving on boards and committees.
