BEND, OR – Peter May, MBA, CCIM, broker with Compass Commercial Real Estate Services has been named President of CID, the Commercial Investment Division of the Central Oregon Association of REALTORS®.
Previously, May served on the board of directors as president-elect and on the education committee.
CID was formed by a group of local commercial real estate specialists to focus on issues and opportunities unique to the commercial aspects of property sales, leasing, and management.
CID’s mission is to provide a professional and energizing forum to exchange essential market information to facilitate transactions for individual and community prosperity. The organization provides support and solutions for commercial real estate professionals through on-going training and communication. Members meet monthly to discuss marketing and to conduct an open forum discussion on relative topics affecting the commercial real estate industry in Central Oregon.
“As president, I look forward continuing CID’s tradition of bringing valuable education and networking opportunities to the commercial brokerage community over the next year,” said May.
Membership in CID is comprised of brokers, agents, property managers, developers, appraisers, lenders, title professionals and other affiliates actively engaged in the business of commercial real estate.
