Compass Commercial Real Estate Brokers Receive CCIM Designation

BEND, OR (March 31, 2015)Compass Commercial Real Estate Services is pleased to announce Robert Raimondi, CCIM and Russell Huntamer, CCIM have been awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute, one of the most prestigious commercial real estate networks in the world.

Huntamer and Raimondi attended the organization’s midyear meetings on March 24 at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago where they passed a rigorous six-hour exam and attended a special pinning ceremony and reception honoring their accomplishment.

CCIM professionals must complete more than 200 hours of case-study driven education covering topics such as ethics, interest-based negotiation, financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis and investment analysis for commercial investment real estate. Candidates must also compile a portfolio demonstrating the depth of their commercial real estate experience in addition to passing the comprehensive examination.

“We are thrilled to congratulate Robert and Russell on their achievement and commitment to furthering their education to the benefit of their clients,” said Compass Commercial President, Howard Friedman, CCIM. “Compass Commercial now counts 11 CCIM members on our brokerage team and this growing number of designations affirms our collective industry knowledge and experience and gives our clients further confidence in our professionalism as an organization.”

“CCIM is the best in the business of commercial real estate practice organizations,” said Raimondi. “CCIM designees are better equipped to help clients minimize risk, make informed decisions and achieve their real estate goals. Having the opportunity to network among peers and form relationships through the Portland/SW Washington CCIM Chapter just adds another dimension to the benefits of becoming a designee.”

“CCIM designees have an edge,” said Huntamer, who has been a broker with Compass Commercial since 2005. “Training and preparing to become a member has given me an advanced understanding of how to thoroughly analyze and effectively navigate all aspects of the commercial real estate industry, from property and transaction analysis to a wide spectrum of negotiations.”
