BEND, OR – Compass Commercial Real Estate Services, Central Oregon’s leading commercial real estate firm, announces the following selection of transactions represented by the brokerage in October 2013.

An 11,268 square foot investment property located at 975 SW Columbia Street in Bend was purchased by NW Columbia Street, LLC for a transaction value of $1,850,000. Bruce Kemp, CCIM with Compass Commercial represented the undisclosed seller, and Gardner Williams, SIOR represented the buyer.

Shirley V. Ray Trust & Susie Backstrom sold an 18,135 square foot office building located at 224 NE Thurston Avenue in Bend to The Bend Area Habitat for Humanity in a transaction valued at $1,206,000. Bruce Kemp, CCIM and Peter May, CCIM with Compass Commercial represented the seller.

Century Park, LLC leased a 3,637 square foot retail property located at 320 SW Century Drive in Bend to Pacific Pizza & Brew, LLC. Erich Schultz, SIOR with Compass Commercial and Peter Lowes with Lowes Commercial represented the lessor, and Schultz and Darren Powderly, CCIM, also with Compass Commercial represented the lessee.

Cheri D. Nager sold an 11,355 square foot leased investment located at 2797 NW Clearwater Drive in Bend to Carol J. Wood Kozimor in a transaction valued at $995,000. Gardner Williams, SIOR with Compass Commercial represented the buyer, and Walt Ramage with Fratzke Commercial Real Estate represented the seller.

Fred & Cheryl Guajardo sold a 3,848 square foot retail building located at 2542 S. Highway 97 in Redmond to John Kiefer in a transaction valued at $950,000. Terry O’Neil, Broker with Compass Commercial represented the seller. Paula Van Vleck with Coldwell Banker Commercial represented the buyer.

S&H Associates, LLC leased a 29,000 square foot industrial building located at 62955 Boyd Acres Road in Bend to Motorcoach Sales & Service of Oregon, LLC. Pat Kesgard, CCIM with Compass Commercial represented the lessor in the negotiation of the lease. The lessee represented themselves in the negotiation.

The Salvation Army sold a 7,150 square foot industrial building located at 755 NE 2nd Street in Bend to Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative for a transaction valued at $540,000. Bruce Kemp, CCIM and Robert Raimondi, Broker with Compass Commercial represented both the seller and buyer in the transaction.

William F. Root Company sold a 7,369 square foot retail building located at 250 NW 6th Street in Redmond to Teresa L. Noe for a transaction value of $450,000. Peter May, CCIM with Compass Commercial represented the seller. Jen Bowen with Coldwell Banker Morris represented the buyer.

Hakuaina LLC leased a 4,228 square foot office located at 1011 SW Emkay Drive to Fortress Financial Services, Inc. Darren Powderly, CCIM and Peter May, CCIM with Compass Commercial represented the lessor and lessee in the negotiation of the lease.

Lovejoy Properties, III, LLC sold a 3,954 square foot multifamily building located at 2003 SW Canyon Drive in Redmond to Randal and Julie Garcia in a transaction valued at $239,999. Terry O’Neil, Broker and Ron Ross, CCIM with Compass Commercial represented the seller.

Keystone Partners, LLC leased a 2,737 square foot retail property located at 550 NW Franklin Avenue, Suite 478 to Lifestyles Realty, LLC. Darren Powderly, CCIM, John Keba, CPM® ARM®, Jay Lyons, CCIM and Howard Friedman, CCIM with Compass Commercial represented the lessor in the negotiation of the lease.

Gary Bendix leased a 3,698 square foot industrial property located at 742 SE Glenwood Drive in Bend to H2PowerTech. Peter May, CCIM and Gardner Williams, SIOR with Compass Commercial represented the lessee and Scott Wicklund with The Wicklund Group represented the lessor.
