Compass Commercial Real Estate Services Announces September Transactions

BEND, OR Compass Commercial Real Estate Services announces a selection of transactions represented by the brokerage in September 2013.

Wilco Farm Stores entered into a long term ground lease on approximately 4.7 acres of land located at 2717 NE Highway 20 in Bend, (the former site of the eastside Regal Cinemas Pilot Butte theater).  Wilco will be opening a +/- 35,000 square foot retail store in late summer of 2014.  Ron Ross, CCIM with Compass Commercial represented Wilco in the negotiation.

NLD Title, LLC sold a 12,187 square foot office building located at 100 West 2nd Street in The Dalles to North County Land, LLC in a transaction valued at $1,026,000.00.  Stephen Toomey, CCIM and Peter May, CCIM with Compass Commercial represented the buyer.  The seller was represented by Barry Silver with The Silver Group.

A 3,838 square foot retail building situated on .88 acres at 2542 S Highway 97 in Redmond, Oregon sold to John Keifer.  The buyer plans to develop a fast food restaurant at the former Bank of the Cascades location.  The transaction was valued at $950,000.  Ron Ross, CCIM and Terry O’Neil, broker with Compass Commercial represented the seller, and Paula Van Vleck of Coldwell Banker represented the buyer.

Janet Meidl sold a 2,013 square foot retail building located at 1001 NW Brooks Street in Bend to Foot of Oregon Enterprises, LLC for a transaction valued at $530,000.00. Jay Lyons, CCIM and Erich Schultz, SIOR with Compass Commercial represented the buyer.

Columbia State Bank sold four acres of commercial land located at 1908 NW Canal Blvd. in Redmond to Canal Land Partners, LLC.  The value of the transaction was $395,000.00.Ron Ross, CCIM with Compass Commercial represented the buyer

Keystone Partners, LLC leased a 4,069 square foot office located in Franklin Crossing at 550 NW Franklin Avenue, Suite 478 in Bend to Sanitation Strategies, LLC.  Darren Powderly, CCIM and Howard Friedman, CCIM with Compass Commercial represented the lessor and Bruce Kemp, CCIM, also with Compass Commercial, represented the lessee.

Millside, LLC leased a 3,495 square foot office located at 231 Scalehouse Loop in Bend to Water Resource Department.  Darren Powderly, CCIM and Jay Lyons, CCIM with Compass Commercial represented the lessor, and Walt Ramage with Fratzke Commercial represented the lessee.

Deschutes Properties, LLC leased an 8,676 square foot industrial property located at 63160 NE Britta Street in Bend to Ballard Fuel Cell Systems, Inc.  Jay Lyons, CCIM, Erich Schultz, SIOR and Ron Ross, CCIM with Compass Commercial represented the lessor.  Lyons and Schultz also represented the lessee.

West Bend Property Company leased a 1,905 square foot retail property located 2755 NW Crossing Drive, Suite 105 and Suite 109 to Toolan Restaurant Group. Howard Friedman, CCIM and Erich Schultz, SIOR with Compass Commercial represented the lessor and Brian Intlekofer with Total Property Resources represented the lessee.

DDS, Inc. sold Debbie Sue’s, a lottery café in Prineville to an undisclosed buyer.  The value of the sale was not disclosed. Peter May, CCIM and Bruce Kemp, CCIM with Compass Commercial represented the seller of the business.
