Holiday Greetings!

As we reflect upon a year that witnessed a turnaround in our industry and growth among our team, our thoughts turn gratefully to those who have made our progress possible.

Anabelle and SantaIn this spirit we express our sincere gratitude, and wish you and yours the very best for the holidays, and a happy and healthy New Year.

Earlier this year, our partner, Steve Toomey and development services manager, Steve Hendley were approached at their church by Linda Keeley, a teacher at Morning Star Christian School, to see if Compass Commercial might be interested in partnering with her class in support of Sparrow Clubs this year.  (Of course, we were interested).  All members of Foundry Church, Toomey and Hendley were well acquainted with the Wilson Family and little Anabelle’s story.

In co-sponsoring the Wilson Family along with Mrs. Keeley’s class, we have been fortunate to have a chance to spend time with Anabelle, her parents Alex and Ronn, and the amazing kids from Morning Star Christian School who have joined us to help bring joy to Anabelle and her family.

In October, you may recall members of our team joined with the community to run in the Angel Glow 5k to support the Wilsons. The incredible event was organized in less than six weeks and enlisted over 700 participants! What an amazing community we have here in Bend!

Bless a Nest

Part of our support of Sparrow Clubs includes hosting a “Bless a Nest” holiday tree.   Sparrow Clubs provided Compass Commercial with tree ornaments with the Wilson family wishes to be fulfilled by the generous donations of our team and clients.  It served as a great opportunity to invite the children in Mrs. Keeley’s class to join us in decorating the tree.  The students created wonderful “Ana-belle” ornaments to help raise funds, and beautiful little angel ornaments to help bring some joy and light to our office.  We had so much fun hosting the kids for a tree decorating party, complete with hot cocoa and cookies.  (You must read the fabulous notes from Mrs. Keeley’s extremely talented and well-mannered students here. We especially loved Sam’s rendition of our over-sized leather chairs in our conference room.

This year, in lieu of printed cards, we have chosen to allocate funds toward Sparrow Clubs and our Sparrow, Annabelle Wilson and her family.

Won’t you please read her story and consider supporting this inspirational family.

Warmest wishes to you and yours this holiday season!
