Severson Enterprises Buys Bend Industrial Building For $2M

In March 2021, Severson Enterprises, LLC, otherwise known as Severson Plumbing & Mechanical and Severson Fire Protection, purchased a 12,580 square foot industrial building located at 63120 Nels Anderson Road in Bend for $2,000,000. Compass Commercial Real Estate Services brokers Adam Bledsoe and Terry O’Neil, CCIM represented Severson Enterprises, and brokers Pat Kesgard, CCIM and Kristie Schmitt represented the seller, Brattain, LLC. Severson purchased the property to expand and continue to grow their team in the future.

“The Brattain Family no longer needed the building for their business and wanted a local company to be able to utilize the property,” partner and broker Pat Kesgard stated. “As a Bend-based second-generation company, the Severson family were precisely the type of buyers they wanted to see purchase the property.”

The plumbing and fire protection company was formerly operating out of a 4,500 square foot industrial building on Reed Market Road. “With 93 employees and 42 vehicles, it’s not hard to imagine us bursting at the seams in our former configuration,” owner Jason Severson said of the previous property.

Currently, Severson Enterprises is in the process of moving in and renovating the space. This new location on Nels Anderson Road allows Severson Enterprises to increase production and operations. The 1.15 acres of land enables them to establish appropriate areas for parking and vehicle storage. They also plan to expand their infrastructure to include a fabrication facility, a conference room, breakrooms and new bathrooms.

Broker Adam Bledsoe stated, “It’s not too often you see a contractor in these types of industries grow this quickly, and it’s awesome to see a local family-owned company achieve this degree of success.”
