Central Oregon CRE Update – January Transactions

We are pleased to announce notable commercial transactions closed by the firm during the month of January 2018.

Brokers Dan Kemp and Terry O’Neil, CCIM of Compass Commercial represented the Lois Jensen Living Trust, et al. in the sale transaction of the 9,242 square foot Lotus Building located on 0.67 acre at 300 SE Reed Market Road in Bend. The transaction for the office building was valued at $1,600,000.

Broker Dan Kemp of Compass Commercial represented Toney Properties, LLC in selling the Taco Time restaurant located at 61479 Highway 97 in Bend. The transaction was valued at $1,350,000.

Compass Commercial brokers Terry O’Neil, CCIM and Ron Ross, CCIM represented the seller in the sale of the fully tenanted 8,750 square foot industrial building located at 61580 American Lane in Bend. Peter May, CCIM and Dan Kemp brokers also of Compass Commercial represented the buyer in the transaction valued at $1,066,000.

Brokers Ron Ross, CCIM, Dan Kemp, Pat Kesgard, CCIM and Kerri Standerwick of Compass Commercial represented the City of Bend in the sale of the 4.5 acre business site at Juniper Ridge, Lot 3 on the northeast side of Bend. The transaction was valued at $1,035,967.

Robert Raimondi, CCIM broker at Compass Commercial represented Ray Dobroski, the buyer, in purchasing Ray’s Car Wash located at 1075 SE 15th Street in Bend. The value of the transaction for the 3,500 square foot retail property was $1,000,000.

The international company Dassault Systèmes Americas Corporation renewed their lease of their 7,292 square feet office suite located at 755 SW Bonnett Way in Bend. Principal broker and property manager John Keba, CPM® & ARM® of Compass Commercial Asset & Property Management represented the Deschutes Properties, LLC in the lease transaction.

Bruce Churchill and Dan Kemp brokers at Compass Commercial represented Three Sisters Holdings, LLC, the landlords, in the lease of the 15,000 square foot industrial building located at 62885 Mercury Place in Bend.

Dan Kemp broker at Compass Commercial represented D & B Decor, LLC, the tenant, in leasing 4,400 square feet of retail space located at 222 SE Reed Market Road in Bend.

Regional property manager and broker, Paul Weaver of Compass Commercial Asset & Property Management represented Deschutes Business Center, LLC, the landlord, in the transaction to lease a 4,995 retail suite located at 20332 Empire Avenue in Bend.

Bruce Churchill broker at Compass Commercial represented landlord D and J Property Investments, LLC in the leasing of 6,878 square feet of retail property located at 443 SW Evergreen Avenue in Redmond.

Sage Behavioral Counseling signed a lease for 2,122 square feet of office space located in Colorado Terrace at 1011 SW Emkay Drive in Bend. Jay Lyons, SIOR, CCIM and Grant Schultz brokers at Compass Commercial represented both the tenant and Hakuaina, LLC, the landlord. Peter May, CCIM of Compass Commercial also represented the landlord in the lease transaction.

Brookswood Animal Clinic will be expanding their clinic by 1,500 square feet in May at 19550 Amber Meadow Drive, Suite 100 in Bend. Both the tenant and Brookswood Meadow, LLC, the landlord, were represented by Compass Commercial Asset & Property Management’s John Keba, CPM® & ARM® and broker Russell Huntamer, CCIM of Compass Commercial.

Property managers Herb Arathoon, CPM® and Luke Ross at Compass Commercial Asset & Property Management represented, the landlord, Bastian Living Revocable Trust in leasing the 3,132 square feet of office space located at 20650 High Desert Lane in Bend to Bend Brewing Company.

Village Interiors leased 1,918 square feet of retail space at Putnam Pointe at 750 NW Lava Road in downtown Bend. Compass Commercial brokers represented the lease transaction. Howard Friedman, CCIM represented, the landlord, Ben Ostlind Trust and Bruce Churchill represented the tenant.
